1,4GROUP, Inc. has an opening for Territory Sales in the region of Washington/Idaho with an agricultural background. We are looking for a professional with a positive attitude and the desire to be part of a motivated and disciplined team.

The responsibilities in this position will include the following duties:

- Travel to each potato growing area in the region throughout the year and minimally once each quarter. Understand local market conditions and demand drivers for our products.

- Forecast volume and sales demand for our products.

- CRM database expansion and maintenance for your territory along with order entry.

- Identify and quantify unmet market needs and industry trends as a stimulus for innovation.

- Collaborate with 1,4GROUP Marketing with product positioning and messaging for your territory.

- Collaborate with 1,4GROUP Executive Leadership in mid and long-range territory strategic planning.

- Attend and participate in industry events and local potato grower groups.

- Inspect potato storages during storage season. Conduct face-to-face meetings with storage managers and growers.

- Provide technical information about 1,4GROUP products to customers on a continuous basis.

- Support 1,4GROUP licensed applicators, distributors, and growers with information about optimum application techniques.

- Visit and work with potato storage and fresh-pack managers to develop treatment programs for specific potato storage conditions to obtain optimum sprout control and quality preservation in storage. Incorporate recommendations from 1,4GROUP research staff, local extension agents and university representatives.

- Support and collaborate with 1,4GROUP RDI with research and development studies.

- Other duties as assigned.

Selected Key Deliverables:

· Grow sales, volumes, profitability, and customer satisfaction to meet and exceed territory’s annual KPIs.

· Weekly on-farm and in the office prospecting visits.

· Visit and develop relationships with influential growers, what’s important to them, and how to meet their needs.

The individual in this position must be a motivated individual and posses a working knowledge that is sufficient to accomplish the described duties in an efficient, safe and proficient manner. This includes previous agriculture related sales experience over a 3 – 5yr period, a proven track record of problem-solving skills and an understanding of chemicals and agronomy.

This role will require extensive travel to maintain customer relationships and customer service focus by conducting face to face meetings at all business levels.
